After being resident of the Bussels Hyatt Regency Hotel this Belgian reaches success playing for the Cover magazine parties, for the City Parade 2003, for the Cannes Festival… He turns himself to France and the rest of the wordl with House sets with a very fashion New York style ....

CHrIs Dee was born in Brussels on 11th January 1967. Since he was 4 years old, he was seriously into his music. He remained committed to the cause and in 1983, along with a childhood friend Steph Akenan (from the Mackenzie Label), they decided to take things more seriously. They began to mix all different styles of music like funk (Shalamar, Whisper, Kool & The Gang) with the likes of Neon Judgement, all the New Wave groups from the period and also some more commercial tracks.
They didn’t really have a particular style because for these guys the pleasure was in mixing up all the tunes so that the play lists would keep their friends entertained.

In 1988, aged 21, (as New Beat music was coming out) Chris began to diversify towards DeepHouse and House music with the likes of Farley Jack Master Funk and other well known pieces from the time of Boccaccio, whilst based a few miles from Ghent, Belgium and his mixes were produced by Olivier Pieters, a friend and resident club DJ.
Throughout this time, Chris Dee would play at private parties and some clubs throughout Belgium.
In recent years, he has taken his passion and made a living out of it from the clubs he regularly plays in (DJ contests at Carat after-club, guest DJ at Outline, resident DJ at Milky-Way etc.) and as resident DJ at Brussels’ exclusive HYATT REGENCY Hotel on Avenue Louise.
His playlists have got stronger and stronger and throughout his residencies across Brussels since 2002 his reputation has grown so that he regularly participates in and organizes parties in Brussels and throughout Belgium.

Due to this courage, talent and perseverance, he is getting his name known on the scene. Additional proof is in the forthcoming premier of House and DeepHouse from the new Paris label CHOCOFLASH (on global distribution through TOPPLERS).
In the last couple of years, having met the editor of a well-known men’s fashion magazine "COVER", Chris Dee became house DJ for the publication and further grew his reputation with their notorious parties organized in Belgium’s biggest House nightclubs along with the honourable DJ MISS LUV.
CHrIs Dee has aditionally become known on the French scene since he was invited to play a guest slot in Lyon on the DEEP LINE programme hosted by KRISPAGLIA on Radio PLURIEL.

Since 2002, he has also taken part in a host of huge events such as “Le Gazon” (an open air weekly summer fest through out the night each summer weekend at Park Royal, Brussels), “City Parade” (an Annual Mardi Gras festival), The Cannes Film Festival along with Marshall Jeferson as well as other occasional outings to the likes of London.
His style has materialized and he now wants to bring his flavours and vibes to the broader audience with his DeepHouse and House explosions. Perhaps one day he will leave Belgium to take his career to larger scenes in either the English speaking world or perhaps nearer by in Paris or .... to be continued.
